I don't know what you think, but some of these would look great hung on a wall. A fly-through would be cool too, but they haven't done that yet.

Wow, those 3D fractals are amazing!

Some of the YouTube videos are nice, especially this arghhh one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbmQaQWyz-k Ironically the nice-looking ones don't look as good when you look at the full-sized version, which is kinda the opposite of what you'd expect from a fractal.

Fractals are one of the few things that really suffer from loss of quality. A fractal is all about seeing the crisp, tiny, never ending details.

@BorgClown: Yes, that's why it's ironic - the greater detail is dull and uninteresting, it's only the zoomed-out version that looks cool due to the colouring and shading. They still might look interesting on a wall, but not as much as I'd imagined - so having the high-resolution print isn't useful.

I could stare at them for hours... Terrible things to put on a wall - I'd never do ANYTHING!

I was about to say that a wall-mounted LCD with a flythrough would be awesome, but apparently real-time rendering might be a bit of an issue :P
