It's not that big a deal really, but I have never had such a thing before... And it was all science based too - about memes no less... Sadly I haven't read enough (one book - 'The Meme Machine') on the subject to continue the argument much, but I have new books to add to my 'to read' list - woop! I am still slightly shocked (and appalled, sir) that neither one of us felt the need to cuss each other out at any point!

This is an announcement, not a news item. (-: So was this using the YouTube mail or under a video? If it's a video, which one?

Yeah I thought after I posted it, the news catagory didn't feel quite right... :) It was this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQ_9-Qx5Hz4 quite interesting in itself - as long as you are already conversant on meme theory, as it pretty much assumes that meme theorey is accepted from the off... I really want to sort my library card out now though, as I can;t afford to buy books by the suggested authors, but would like to read them, if only to see the other side I disagree with's point... :) (I wasn't even aware youtube mail existed!:P )

Right, well perhaps a topic on memes would have been better. Topics here are supposed to be primarily opinions, but always intended to spur debate.
