It looks gross, but I want to bite it.

Woah, vegetarianism fies a lot. According to a comment, this "recipe" came from here: http://thisiswhyyourefat.com Lots of unhealthy and weird food, talk about mixed feelings.

I don't like it... looks disgusting...

You made a typo: By disgusting you must mean delicious. It's easy to make mistakes when being confronted with such hellish, yet heavenly vision. I kid, it looks gross, but I'd like to try a piece anyway. As a kid, I seriously considered trying all the flavors in the world. Luckily, I was reasonable enough to understand the futility of such endeavor. There are things I would definitely not put in my mouth, and so I couldn't possibly taste all the flavors in the world.

or just set yourself up for a huge mouthful of instant death near the end.

I think you're confusing gross taste witn grossly un-healthy... That would be guarranteed to taste AWESOME (as long as you use not terrible quality food), it would just pretty much guarrantee a heart attack in later life! I intend to make one myself at some point, to add to the list... http://staceyroadeating.blogspot.com/ :D

I love how meat and deep-frying manage to sneak in nearly all those dishes. I wonder if it's possible to produce a culinary monstrosity out of vegetarian ingredients...

Mmmmm, deep frying... I think I'm gonna get myself a deep fat fryer next year, and have one random meal deep fried each week/month depending on my health =D

have a hat with so many days of the month x 3. pull at random. Have a bunch say no and one say yes. Dance when yes comes up.

Mmmmm.... If I'm feeling rich next time I'm in town I may have to bring this plan forward... I just watched an episode of Heston Blumenthal's feast series, and wanna try a bit of cookery 'science'. Low level obviously, how do you deep fry a soup, for instance?! =P

I don't know..... Flavor bread with soup and fry them?

That's a good idea... I think it might well work... I love applying my engineer's problem solving mind to new areas... :) I really think I'm gonna have to try this, as there's other thing like bolognese which could be tricky... Though I think if you made it fairly 'dry' it would possibly hold together enough to throw straight in...
