I do now. Ideally, I sleep two hours, stay awake six, rinse and repeat. My new work requires a 30-45 min commute, and the office hours (including meal time) are 10, frequently extended to 11. It's hard to be alert so many hours, and it's hard to sleep for more than 4 hours straight. I know I'll adjust, but meanwhile life stinks lots. Have you been in a similar situation? Maybe school?

I never nap during the day. The only times I've ever done it have been when I've been feeling ill, and I always feel much worse afterwards. But even so, I think it's better to have a solid block of sleep and stay alert and conscious for the daytime itself.

Lets see get up at 6:45 go to class at 8 come back at 9. Nap till 10. Do some class reading till 11 get lunch and then go to class at 1. work till 6 or 7 go play music then either get back to work or mess around. go to bed at around 1 or 2.

I need a big block of sleep time usually, I tend to stay awake once I'm down to below 4 hours of sleep time available... I coped reasonably well while I had 5am and 6am starts while working at ASDA (horrors!), but did find myself taking the no sleep option on a few occasions, as it's hard to go to bed 4-6 hours before the rest of the house... :s

I find two-hour naps very refreshing, that's why I struggle to sleep more than four hours straight. Still feels like oversleeping. But eventually I'll phase into one big block of sleep. I'm finding gradually easier to sleep longer. Maybe a little workout can get me tired enough to ease the transition. BTW, I like Basilisks schedule =)
