I only tried this once or twice, about a decade ago, and it wasn't worth continuing. Perhaps you have to be raised on the combination to think it's worthwhile. Then again, I have other things with my (daily) peanut butter - tomatoes, cucumber, sultanas...

Jelly can mean jelly - bramble jelly works very well with peanut butter (especially if it's home made jelly!) I think it's crucial to get the ratios right, and I expect it's very much a personal preference thing. I reckon 1:1 is best generally speaking, unless I want a 'pudding' sandwhich (my parents dogma of 'no sweet til you've had something good for you' still affects the order of my lunch!), in which case I use a higher proportion of jelly, tho rarely as high as 3:1, as it gets tricky and advanced sandwhich skills are required - something I'd rather not use unless constructing a lunch monster...

You got me at "advanced sandwich skills". PB&J sandwiches are a difficult and unhealthy art.
