My best current TV shows are True Blood (second episode out now) and I recently started watching "30 Rock" which is kind of amusing. Oh, and Robot Chicken.

I really like It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

Star Trek TNG and Voyager. I'm waiting for the next series, and hoping madly that they don't pull a George Lucas.

@Nevermore: Cool, I haven't heard about that show before. I'll give it a look.

@Korinthian: you should definitely check it out, Kor.

Unfortunately no. The ST movies suck more with each new one. I can accept a 1-hour chapter on a simple premise or two, but not a full motion picture.

@Nevermore: 1.5 mb/s download on it now. Gotta love a high speed connection.

Cocky Swedish. What's your download/upload bandwidth?

@BorgClown: But who knows, it could be pretty great. I mean, they actually made Transformers watchable, I would have never guessed that they could turn it into something successful.

@BorgClown: I have managed 6-7 mb/s, but everything else on my computer came to a full halt. It was so worth it, though.

What is your contracted bandwidth?

I find it weird that your computer took a hit under 6-7 Mb/s, that's the network speed of a 1990s LAN.

@BorgClown: Eh, I think it was 100 megabit, not sure though, and I'm not digging through papers for your sake.

@BorgClown: Yeah, I don't know what that was about either, but I got my movie in the end. Perhaps it was because I had left my machine running for a week or two.

@Korinthian: Ah,how much I envy you. Here we have one lousy megabit. Anything higher is a business account. Thank the Carlos Slim monopoly for that.

House is fantastic (but I think the original team was still a little bit better). The best thing out there right now is "Dexter". Based on a great book, creepy, yet cool with great actors and a lot of swear words. All time favourite is tough, The Simpsons, South Park or Futurama come to mind. X-Files of course and the original Stargate Series.
