I wouldn't mind this at all.

@Korinthian: Same here. Although when I first time I saw it on SB, I deemed it unnecessary. And what was the deal with the short and long mottoes?

But who ever looks at those on SB profiles?

@Nevermore: I used to do it, and also put messages on mine for the people who did it (a few, I might add). As our DNr profiles give more info, I'm sure they will be visited more, just out of curiosity. Also, they are good to see the last activity of one particular user.

It would be fun to put some kind of tagline or a quotation in our profiles.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to mention this. (-: The profile page does actually show your personalised message, I just haven't written anything to let you enter one yet! I'll get around to it eventually...

Ha ha, I've already used it twice before you added your last comment!

Yes, I saw. I had some trouble getting it fully working but announced it once done.

What do you use to monitor your site in real time?

You were appearing in the site activity, making comments, so I knew you'd probably spot the description editing before I announced it - so I just looked at your profile.

@Lee J Haywood: Pfft. So no wifi cyborg implants, what a joke.

Yes, god forbid that I should actually use the site itself.
